Outfit Diaries: Pink Tulle Skirt

Next up in my ‘Outfit Diaries’ series, this totally fun, Carrie Bradshaw inspired look! I just love this tulle skirt – It’s so feminine and girly and A LOT of fun to twirl in 🙂
Originally this look was just for some fun photos for updating the ‘About Me’ section on the website but when I got the snaps, I thought it would make a fun post!
This tulle skirt from ASOS (check it out here) comes in lots of different colours including; black, dark green, navy and lilac (Check it out here and here). The skirt although really full and big (you won’t believe how big it is) is a little bit see through, so I just wore a slip skirt from Marks & Spencer underneath mine (You can get the slips in nude or black)
To avoid making this look too girly, I decided to style it with this simple beige knit polo neck from Zara (Link below). There is enough going on with this skirt so it’s best to keep your upper half simple and more understated!
It looks really chic with a simple fine knit jumper or a plain chiffon or silk top (or it would look really fab with a crop top if you’re brave enough!)
I finished off the look with this statement necklace! The neckpiece is called ‘Serafina’ and is from my own collection; TSF Accessories (Check it out here) This is such a statement piece and looks great worn with pinks, whites, creams and beiges. I also recently wore it my my classic and very plain black dress and it totally transformed the outfit! It’s now one of my favourite necklaces to wear and I plan to wear it loads over the Christmas party season!
IMG_2128I picked up this faux fur collar in Topshop last year (see links to similar options below) and have been getting so much wear out it!! I regularly put it on various coats or just style it with a dress for more glam, dressed up looks!
