Workwear Wishlist
Let’s face it, we all struggle with the return to work after the Christmas break and putting back on those drab work clothes certainly doesn’t make life any easier. It can be hard to spend money clothes that we wear to work but the January sales are a perfect time to invest in some key pieces to get us through the year. Plus, if you feel good in your clothes at work then it is sure to soften the blow of being back to work (here’s hoping).
Work Wear Inspiration
So what should you be looking for when you are trawling through those sale rails?
1. Blazers
The sharp cut of a blazer makes any outfit look smart. Wear with slim leg trousers or skinny jeans. Look out for some statement blazers either in a funky print or bright colour to give your wardrobe a lift.
2. Pencil Skirts
A pencil skirt has long been the definition of sophistication. Look out for ones that have details such as zips, lace and patterns to keep on trend this season.
4. Slim Leg Trousers
Keep an eyeย out for slim leg trousers which are ankle length. Wear with brogues or pumps for a more relaxed take on the trouser suit.
5. ย Good Shoes (Flats/Heels)
Findingย a good pair of smart flats or heels of a sensible height can be difficult. You need to find something that is smart enough to wear to work but also comfortable enough to be walking around in all day. Brogues are an excellent way to look smart while also been comfortable.
