Trend Report – The Bomber Jacket

Our favourite jacket, the bomber jacket made its big comeback last year but it’s certaintly not going anywhere this Spring! Gracing the Spring Summer 2016 catwalks of designers like Valentino, Dolce & Gabanna and Louis Voitton and also featured on some of our favourite street style icons, this trend has evolved and we are loving it more than ever!!

Moving away from the dark and bulky jacket we had this winter, the most prominent trends for the bomber jacket this spring are silks, pastels, metallics and embroideries.


 

Street Style Inspiration – How to wear a bomber jacket

The versatility of this jacket makes it pretty much perfect for every ocassion. To achieve a casual, day-time look the bomber jacket can be paired with your favourite denims and an oversized tee, giving a simplistc, chic look.



For a more glamorous, night-on-the-town look add the bomber jacket to a simple dress and throw on your favourite heels and accesories. I love this jacket over satin or slip dresses. Doing this will add texture and layering to your outfit, adding some instant edge and comtemporary glam!
