The Lions Club Cavan Charity Ball
The Annual Cavan Charity Ball hosted by Cavan Lions Club is being held this coming Saturday night 15th November in the Kilmore Hotel in Cavan. This years I have been asked to judge ‘Most Stylish Lady’ on the night and I can’t wait!!
I originally come from Cavan (although living in Dublin a long time now), so it is a real honour for me to be asked to judge Most Stylish Lady at this event. The Lions Club Charity ball is a long standing event in the county and will be attended this year by upwards of 350 people!! So there certainly will be a lot of style to choose from. It’s Black Tie so I am really looking forward to seeing what all the glamorous ladies will be wearing and off course, I can’t to choose my winner!
The proceeds from the Charity Ball will be to provide much needed funds for the Cavan Lions Club Christmas food appeal. See more information on the work of the Cavan Lions Club and Lions Club International or to buy tickets for what promises to be a fantastic event visit: www.cavanlionsclub.com
So…. What am I going to wear? 🙂
Well the fabulously stylish ladies over at Covet Boutique in Powerscourt are very kindly loaning me a gown for the event. I am heading in tomorrow to meet with them and get all styled up for the night! I’ll be sharing lots of photos of the gown I wear from Covet and how I accessorise it both here on the blog, but also on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages on the evening of the event itself, so stay tuned 🙂
If you don’t know about Covet, then you are seriously missing out! (You can follow them on Facebook here). They are located on the Top Floor of the Powerscourt Centre, just off Grafton Street. Stepping into their boutique is like stepping into another world – A world of complete fashion fantasy, the decor and interior is almost as beautiful as the gowns! Check it out here.
This meticulously edited collections from Covet feature fashion and accessories from the world’s leading designers, select up and coming talent, and exquisite vintage collectibles all for rent at just a fraction of the retail price.
Covet is the ultimate treasure trove of fashion delights featuring designers such as Stella Mc Cartney, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Oscar de La Renta and Prada to name just a few.
The concept of being able to wear beautiful designer gowns, but not having to fork out for the actual retail price and instead just borrow them is fantastic! Perfect if you have a black tie event, a wedding or a big occasion to attend! I am so excited to choose my dress tomorrow! You can check out Covet for yourself by visiting www.covet.ie
Stay tuned to see what dress I get
‘Til next time
