Outfit Diaries: Wedding Fun

Hey ladies,
So if you follow me on Snapchat (username: thestylefairy) you’ll know Cormac and I were at our friends wedding yesterday in the stunning Clonabreany House – Wow what a venue! It was my first night away from Anabelle Ivy since she was born, so I was a little worried (well, more than a little worried, part of me was really dreading leaving her to be honest) but thankfully all was perfect and she was happy as larry with my mum.
In the morning I had my make up done by Deirdre O’Reilly and I was absolutely THRILLED with how it turned out. I went to school with Deirdre and have been following her successful makeup career for a while now (she worked in Mac for years before now becoming freelance) I had wanted to get my make up done with Deirdre for ages now so yesterdays wedding was the perfect excuse. I can honestly say out of all the times I have ever had my make up done, this was by far the absolute best. She is one seriously talented lady!

She really takes her time and really knows how to make the best of your features. It’s that detail and precision that makes her so so good. We went for a matt nude lip with dark ish eyes created with a mix of golds and browns. She applied individual lashes to really open the eye, the focus was also on really defined brows and strong highlighter – Which I love. My make up lasted just perfectly all day too with just a a few lip touch ups.

OUTFIT DETAILS

IMG_8552I wore this midi length blush pink dress from Cari’s Closet. I loved the lace detail on the top and the cut out sides. I got the fascinator online in Accessorize and luckily when it arrived, the colour was the perfect match. I woreย my metallic Jimmy Choos and an embellished clutch bag from Penneys (it’s old stock but I’ve included a similar option below)

We had such a fun day and although I missed Anabelle Ivy so so much, it felt great to be out just the us two again! We danced the legs of ourselves and just had a ball! Really paying for it today though but it was so worth it!
