Label Love: Onjenu

It’s only in the last few months that I came across the label ‘Onjenu’ and wow I am a huge fan now.
teraifj_kI bought a wrap dress in Fran & Jane in Blackrock and just loved it, at the time I was aboout 12 ย weeks pregnant so you couldn’t really tell I was expecting yet (bar friends and family who knew at that stage), but because it was a wrap style dress I knew it would be perfect for my expanding tummy! And I have since got loads more stuff from Onjenu!

I bought this one in Fran & Jane in Blackrock (one of my all time favourite boutiques)

What I love about this label is the gorgeous array of striking, vibrant prints. Their signature prints really remind me of DVF, but a much more affordable version!

The dresses are cleverly designed for ‘real’ women. The fabric is breathable and stretchy, yet the cut and shape is so incredibly flattering on. I could go on for ages about the benefits of a great wrap dress, but I might bore you ๐Ÿ˜‰ Every fashionista knows a wrap dress is the single most flattering shape; it accentuates the bust and cinches in the waist (what all us women want!)

Their current collection offers a huge variety of short length dresses, maxi dresses, playsuits and jumpsuits.

Where to buy?

The Onjenu range is available to buy directly on their website HEREย and is also available in a select number of boutiques around the country including; Fran & Jane, Lotus Boutique (Dublin) and Lula Belle Boutique (Dublin).
Their clothes are not maternity wear but I find they are the ideal style for my growing shape; they tie just under the bust leaving plenty of room for my bump. I love the fact that I will be able to wear them post pregnancy too. The prices are certainly higher than average high street dresses, but then this is not average high street. They are more boutique prices, which I don’t mind paying when you are getting such good quality and want something that little bit different ๐Ÿ™‚

I just wondered if the material for the onjenu wrap dresses ( the first one) would be suitable for a nursing mum? Is the wrap front stretchy? Thank you
