The biggest hindrance when wearing a cape, is that is becomes close to impossible to wear your handbag over your shoulder, so this look is all about having a hand held bag! They also aren’t as practical in our Irish weather when its bitterly cold! But all that said, they can look incredibly stylish! For a casual look, wear with skinny jeans tucked into thigh high boots and a simple fine knit jumper. For a dressier look, pair with a classic LBD or body con dress. The loose silhouette of a cape looks really elegant over a dress!
