Outfit Diaries: Florals & Pink

If you’ve been following me for a while now you’ll know I love pink ๐Ÿ˜‰ ย Yep, I’m a big girly girl and I always just gravitate towards pink. So when I came across this blouse on Chicwish, it just had to mine. I love how rich this candy pink colour is, but even more so, I love the bow detail on the neck.

I’ve also had my eye on this midi skirt from Chicwish for ages now too. I just LOVE this print – it also comes in a dress too. See the dress here.

Before Christmas I purchased two midi skirts from Chicwish and I was so impressed with them both – The quality was amazing and the prices, well they speak for themselves! ย (See post on my other Chicwish purchases here) So I knew this one would be just as good, and wow I was not disappointed – I LOVE it!!

When this skirt & top arrived in, I was delighted with how well they went together, I hadn’t originally planned for the 2 pieces to go together but I loved how the pink in the blouse picked up on the pink tones in the skirt.

I think this would be a great look for a communion, a confirmation or even a spring or summer wedding!

What I love about shopping on Chicwish is that the items are that bit different than our regular highstreet stores, so you’re more likely to get something unique and original plus there is far less chance of anyone else arriving in the same outfit as you!

Since I have starting posting items from Chicwish lots of you have emailed and asked me about the quality and my general experience with the company. And I have to admit, I have been delighted with every single item I’ve gotten so far from them. I think when we see the low prices, we expect poor quality but that certainly hasn’t been my experience. Delivery takes approx. 2 weeks, so yes, it is that little bit longer than ordering from other usual UK high street stores, but the way I look at it, it’s worth the wait!

With racing season fast approaching and the coveted ‘Best Dressed Lady’ competitions kicking off around the country over the coming months, I really suggest having a look on Chicwish for some unique pieces. I LOVE their range of skirts and there are lots of styles I have my eye on, including this houndstoothย one, this blue floral oneย and this brocade style one. They also have a great range of dresses and blouses. (You can shop here)
I can see myself wearing this skirt again with a simple cream top (maybe a cami style top, a crop top or a bardot off the shoulder style top) or it would also be fab worn with pale pink.

As for the blouseย ย I can see myself getting so much wear out of this over the summer, it will look great worn with regular jeans or white jeans (when it’s a bit warmer) and heels for a more casual look! Plus I have a cream pencil skirt that it would great with too!
To finish my outfit I styled it with my old reliable nude pointy toe heels and a nude clutch bag, plus my new Kate Spade watch (which I just treated myself to last week & I am very giddy about!!)
