Outfit Diaries: Full Green Skirt

I’m finally properly back to work today after an amazing few weeks. Between Christmas, my brothers wedding on New Years Eve and then holidays with my hubby in Gran Canaria it’s been a crazy but brilliant couple of weeks. But back to reality today ๐Ÿ™‚ Over the last couple of weeks I’ve had lots of emails about this look I wore Christmas Day and about the quality of items from Chicwish in general so I thought I’d do an outfit post on this look!

The emerald green skirt is from Chicwish (see it here) ย and it was my first time ordering from them. I ordered 2 midi skirts (see navy blue one here) I was really delighted and so surprised by the quality of both skirts, especially given the price!! I think it’s one of those stores that can can be hit or miss when it comes to quality, but I’ll certainly be ordering from Chicwish again!
When it arrived in the green skirt was a little on the big side, so I brought it to The Zip Yard in Dun Laoghaire and they just nipped in at the waist perfectly. I wanted it to sit high up on my waist as I knew I wanted to wear it with a crop top!

I styled the skirt with this cream crop top from River Island, a statement necklace from my own collection (now sold out ๐Ÿ™ ) and these really simple and classic nude pointy toe heels from Zara – I get SO MUCH wear from these shoes -They just go with everything!

With my cutie Oscar - the bow tie was his Xmas gift from my mother in law!

With my little cutie Oscar – He’s wearing a bowtie that my mother in law got him for Christmas!!

The other skirt I bought was this navy/ blue midi skirt with organza overlay. I wore this outfit to my brothers wedding rehearsal dinner. I styled with this navy lace top but it would look great with the cream crop top too!
