Most Stylish Women 2014

As we struggle to put on those skinny jeans after all the christmas festivities and start to look ahead to the year ahead, we reflect on some of the most stylish women of 2014. My pick of the top 10 most stylish ladies include a mix of stylish women from home and abroad – enjoy!

10. Miriam O’Callaghan

Heaven knows how the TV presenter and Mum of eight (yes 8) always manages to be dressed immaculately. Never short of a classic dress and smart casual off duty style Miriam is one of the most stylish ladies gracing our TV screens. Check out some of Miriam’s best looks this year.

9. Taylor Swift

In her 25 years Taylor has become quite the fashionista. The singer songwriter always remains true to get own unique style which often includes cute dresses and pumps, denim separates and converse. I am loving her twist on the classic red carpet dress below.

8. Kathryn Thomas

The Carlow native has had an impressive year in the style stakes. Never afraid of trying something a little edgy and accompanying it with a smokey eye, Kathryn has earned a spot on this list.

7. Pippa O’Connor

Pippa is one of Ireland’s leading models and owner of her blog (pippa.ie) Pippa’s casual style and love of all things high street make her looks easily accessible to all. See some of her looks below.

6. Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung’s wardrobe has long been the envy of many.  The English television presenter, model and contributing editor at British Vogue rarely puts a foot wrong, this year being no exception.

5. Angela Scanlon

What a year it has been for Angela Scanlon with her hugely successful RTE show Full Frontal and being tipped by Vogue as ‘one to watch’. Angela’s style is like her personality unique, upbeat and cheerful!

4. Lily Collins

The Blind Side actress and daughter of the english musician Phil Collins created quite a stir at the ‘Love Rosie’ movie premier, in an exquisite ombre gown (see below). Her effortless sense of style is evident from her mix of casual and formal looks.

3. Suki Waterhouse

At only 22, the model and actress’s grunge fashion sense continues to impress. From androgynous suits and ornate gowns Suki is certainly not afraid to push the boundaries and for that we applaud her.

2. Olivia Palermo

I think we will always remember Olivia’s wedding to German model Johannes Huebl this year. 1. Miroslava Duma

The polly-pocket sized Russian fashion writer and editor has been my fashion icon for 2014. The street style star is not afraid to experiment with different shapes, colours and patterns. This girl can do no wrong in my book.
