L'Oréal Magic Retouch Review

L’Oréal Magic ReTouch is a relatively new product to the market and I have to say, I am loving it. It’s ideal for busy mamas like me 🙂 Or anyone who needs a quick touch up for that ‘in between’ stage when you can’t make it to the hairdressers.

So what is it?

In a nutshell, L’Oréal Magic Retouch is an instant spray-on touch up for your hair colour, to conceal your roots OR to cover greys. L’Oréal describe it as an ‘Instant Root Concealer Spray’. It is available in 5 different shades; Light blonde, dark blonde, brown, dark brown and black.

I opted for the dark blonde one, which matches my current hair colour really well; I have light brown hair with lots of highlights throughout so this colour was ideal. The brown one is quite a definite brown, much darker than my own shade, so do be careful to pick the right shade for you.

Be warned though; a little goes a long way with this product; I advise doing a test run using the nossle as you may be surprised how quick is comes out! The coverage it gives is excellent, in fact I find even between washes it lifts the hair (quite like dray shampoo) and the results last until the next shampoo.

When using it apply it to dry hair and hold can approx. 10cm from your hair and lightly spray roots. It dries incredibly fast!
It’s available in pharmacies and groceries nationwide and RRP is €13.99.
Def one worth checking out 🙂

  • I am so curious to try this product out. I have some gray hairs that I would love to camouflage without have to dye all of my hair. This is such a convenient product =)
