Lions Club Charity Ball – Most Stylish Lady

I had the pleasure of attending the Cavan Lions Club Charity Ball last Saturday night. It was a fantastic evening. Proceeds of the event go to the Christmas Food Appeal in the local Cavan area – It was a really successful night and huge funds were donated for this great cause!

Dymphna Gaffney – Winner of ‘Most Stylish lady’

I was lucky enough to judge ‘Most Stylish Lady’ on the evening. There was so much style on the night!! In the end, the winner was a local Cavan woman, Dymphna Gaffney. For me, Dymphna really stood out from the crowd in a bright pink 1950’s inspired dress from Manilla Boutique in Malahide. She was such a worthy winner – Her look was so different, totally uninque and so brave! Her look was a really original take on Black Tie dressing and for me she was an obvious winner! The dress suited her perfectly and she accessorised it to a tee!

Ms Gaffney won a 2 hour personal shopping trip with me, a huge hamper from Cara Pharmacies and a necklace from Stella & Dot!
For the evening, I was lucky enough to be dressed by the fabulous Covet Boutique in Dublin. Covet hire out designer gowns for weddings, graduations, debs, black tie events etc. I got to choose any dress in their boutique – such a fun experience!

I went for this white full length Alexander McQueen gown. I completely fell in love with this dress the moment I tried it on, and just so felt so comfy in it! I wore it with gold heels from Zara, a gold clutch from H&M, and earrings from Accessorise and wore my hair is a ponytail!
