This post is all about them brows 😉 I am brow obsessed, I think most of us are. I just love how great brows can really frame your face. When I look back at old pics of my barely there over plucked brows I cringe…..If your brows are ‘on fleek’ then it makes such a difference to your face 🙂
I get HD brows done (I go to CC’s Nails & Beauty in Cavan) about once a month. But for filling in brows to create a fuller look and a great shape or when I am going out with full make up I have been using a new product lately I wanted to tell you about. The lovely people in BPerfect Cosmetics sent me this brow kit to try a few months ago.
I really like to properly road test a product first before recommending it as i just don’t like to tell you about products I haven’t even tried myself! I have been using this religiously for the last few months and I am totally hooked. I love it!!!!
I’ll be honest when I first got it i was very dubious, the reason being is I have always used ‘Browzings’ by Benefit and was convinced nothing would compare to it. Well, I was wrong.
I have been using the shade ‘Irid Brown’ and it’s the perfect match for me.
It is available in 4 different shades; Charcoal, Irid Brown, Dark Brown and Brown so there is the right shade for everyone:
Brown: Very subtle look. Best for those with very fair brows
Dark Brown: For medium blonde to dark brown hair
Irid Brown: This is what I use. It’s best for strong definition and dark brown to black brown hair
Charcoal: High definition brow for darker and thicker brows and for those wanting a very striking brow.
The kit comes with 3 different stencils so you get one for thick, natural and thin brows. To be honest, at first I used the stencils but I now I find I can apply it better without the use of the stencils myself. But everyone will vary, the stencils come in very handy if you haven’t got a well defined shape yet as it gives you a guideline. The kit also comes with a double ended brush, again I don’t personally use the brush as I find I can use my own brush better (I use a Benefit brow definer brush)
So, what’s so good about it?
It is a ‘semi permanent’ brow kit so it means it is water resistant, smudge proof, sweat proof and promises to last 24 hours OR until you remove it yourself with make up remover or your usual cleansing routine. I really like the texture and consistency of the powder, it goes on great and yes, it really does last so so well. Plus the colour is just such a fantastic match.
Where to buy & how much?
It is available to purchase at http://www.bperfectcosmetics.com plus a select number of stockists across the country (see full list of stockists here) and retails at £24.99 (please note that is the sterling price). Stockists prices may vary but it is circa €30.
(Any Cavan folk reading this you can purchase the kit in CC’s Nails & Beauty in Cavan town)
Hope you enjoyed the post
